Regional Meeting, Cacak

Regional Meeting, Čačak, July 10th-11th, 2014

Technical Meeting was held in Čačak, Serbia, gathering representatives of the partner universities: University of Basilicata, University of Belgrade, University Mediterranean, University of Banja Luka, University of Niš, University of Kragujevac and University of Tuzla, with the main goal to discuss current and forthcoming activities related to WP2 and WP3.

Article in "Most"

The student journal "Most" issued by University of Banja Luka Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy published an article on BAEKTEL by Aleksandar Borković in its June 2014 issue under the title "Securing the Quality of Open Educational Resources in the Region".

Podgorica, Technical Meeting

Technical Meeting, Podgorica, June 23-24th, 2014

In June 2014 the BAEKTEL Technical Meeting was held in Podgorica, Montenegro, gathering representatives of the WB partner universities: University of Belgrade, University Mediterranean, University of Banja Luka, University of Niš, University of Kragujevac and University of Tuzla, with the main goal to discuss current and forthcoming activities related to WP2.

Belgrade, Working Meeting

Working Meeting , Belgrade, May 26-27th, 2014

On May 26-27, 2014 a BAEKTEL Working Meeting was held in Belgrade, Serbia, gathering representatives from all academic partners from Serbia, University of Banja Luka and University “Mediterranean”. On the second day of the meeting a formal visit of the Tempus-Erasmus+ office of Serbia was hosted, attended by University of Belgrade vice-rector for international cooperation professor Dalibor Soldatić .

At the Working Meeting, a plan of mobility in the forthcoming months was defined, and specific issues of financial transactions related to travel documents were discussed, followed by an overview of activities related to Dev 1.3 and WP2.

Podgorica, First Regional Meeting

First Baektel Regional Meeting, Podgorica, May 8-9th, 2014

On May 8-9, 2014 the First BAEKTEL Regional Meeting was held in Podgorica, Montenegro, gathering representatives from all partner institutions except University of Tuzla and ArcelorMittal Prijedor.

The Vice-rector of the University “Mediterranean” welcomed meeting participants followed by Professor Snežana Šćepanović's introductory note on aims and scope of the meeting, agenda and logistic information for all partners, with an emphasis of the importance of the expected meeting outputs for effective implementation of the OER portal and regional OER action plans.

BADEN (Balkan Distance Education Network) has published an informative text in Serbian about Tempus BAEKTEL project in the March issue of BADEN Newsletter.

BADEN Newsletter is distributed across the whole WB region, so the info about the project will reach a large number of academics, professionals and end users.

KickOff Meeting Belgrade

KickOff Meeting in Belgrade

BAEKTEL kick-off meeting was held in Belgrade on February 24-25, 2014. The meeting was attended by representatives of all Consortium members except University of Iasi.

At the opening of the meeting Vice Rector of the University of Belgrade for scientific research, professor Ivanka Popović, welcomed the participants, and remarked that BAEKTEL project offers a very good opportunity to strengthen relations between the academia and the SMEs. Professor Giovanni Schiuma also welcomed the participants on behalf of the coordinator, University of Basilicata, expressing his pleasure that Basilicata will coordinate this project.
