Student Information Day, University of Tuzla, Faculty of mining, geology and civil engineering, Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Info day at the Faculty of mining, geology and civil engineering in Tuzla took place on the 18th of October 2016. It was attended by 24 students, who were presented with all the activities associated to TEMPUS project BAEKTEL. They received information about advantages of using edx portal made at UNTZ node and Belgrade node ie. www.edx.untz.ba and www.edx.baektel.eu portal. They were also introduced to the basic concept of open educational resources, it’s definition, as well as initiatives for the development and use of OER developed by prestigious universities. Discussion also touched on the basics of edx portal and the approach of edx.untz.ba portal. In addition, students were offered information methodology access to the main hub edx within BAEKTEL project and the way to access and search edx.baektel.eu portal. Furthermore, they were given basic guidelines for the efficient use of resources.
