MEETING SUMMARY – Working Meeting (Legal conditions), Čačak, July 10-11th, 2014Working Meeting was held in Čačak, Serbia, gathering representatives of the partner universities: University of Basilicata, University of Belgrade, University Mediterranean, University of Banja Luka, University of Niš, University of Kragujevac and University of Tuzla, with the main goal to discuss current and forthcoming activities related to WP2 and WP3.
At the beginning of the meeting, Danijela Milosevic on behalf of the University of Kragujevac gave an overview of the performed activities within Work Package 1. Concerning the Dev 1.3, University Mediterranean, Podgorica, presented an overview of the current legal and technological prerequisites in Montenegro, while University of Tuzla presented an overview of the current situation relating to the legal and technological preconditions for development of OER in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
University of Banja Luka, presented the draft version of the document containing guidelines for publishing OER (Dev 2.1). An integrated approach was presented, which is related to the definition of the different aspects that should affect the definition of guidelines, such as: material structure, layout, pedagogical basis, the technical requirements... Also, the idea about the potential inclusion of OER in strategy at the university level through evaluation of creation OER in the choice of scientific research and teaching positions was exposed. Partners discussed the setting up of the User Agreement BAEKTEL platform, as well as the required Quality Conditions relating to technical quality.
University of Belgrade gave brief overview of scheduled workshops that will surely take place: Romania during November 2014 (Dev 2.2).
University of Belgrade presented the conceptual design of the platform through UML diagrams. It was found that the portal of metadata reside in Belgrade. University of Belgrade provided an overview of the standards that will be used (Dev 2.3).
University of Belgrade, presented the basic rules and principles of procurement of equipment (Dev 2.4).
University of Belgrade, within Dev 3.2, presented an overview of the central repository, the possibilities of Resource Space, platforms which are installed at the University of Belgrade, operation platform and search capabilities. University of Belgrade pointed the need to introduce a group of users and the characteristics of documents (published, withdrawn ..). Then partners opened discussion about their needs and implementation of single sign in at all nodes. It has been found the solution to which all partners should be able to test the platform and EDX before reaching the equipment.
University of Belgrade presented the Dev 3.3 which is related to multilingual terminological resources and services. Two language support systems that were created on a Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade were introduced. It is proposed to create a vocabulary in this project. Also, the idea of using Web service for query expansion, on behalf including semantic and morphological expansion is exposed.
Roberto Linzalone, on behalf of the coordinating University of Basilicata has introduced updated mobility plan, which could be changed according to needs.
