Training Meeting, Bari, Italy, 11 and 12 June, 2015
The Training meeting in Bari has been a two days meeting centred around knowledge and learning from the perspective of the Labor Market players (i.e. Companies). This is a particular and very important perspective for the BAEKTEL project. The Baektel platform will be effective and sustainable only if the project team understands the needs and expectations of the companies, and addresses tailored solutions in the development of the platform and in the production of OER.
During the first day 3 training sessions have been administered: Collective Intelligence Systems for Technology Entrepreneurship, 2nd Training Session - Creativity and innovative mindset for entrepreneurship: enabling factors, processes and environment, Culture, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in tertiary higher education: connecting the knowledge dots.
During the second day, more variegated and shorter presentations from different trainers have been delivered within 2 sessions: "Crossing the language and cultural barriers: Innovative approaches to blending academic and entrepreneurial knowledge" and "Innovation in Higher Education and Competence Development, through E-Learning".
In particular, in the first session the following micro-training slots have been addressed: Using online negotiations to build language and business communication skills, Margaret Kersten, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada; A bilingual digital library for academic and entrepreneurial knowledge management, Biljana Lazić, University of Belgrade, Serbia; Assessing the quality of multilingual open knowledge resources, Marija Radojičić, University of Belgrade, Serbia; Novel open education platform for innovative learning and knowledge management, Nenad Stefanovic, University of Kragujevac, Serbia; A platform for management of academic and entrepreneurial knowledge, Olivera Kitanović, University of Belgrade, Serbia. After this first session a training speech was delivered by Joerg Rainer Noennig, from Dresden University of Technology (Germany).
In the second morning session some other interesting micro-training slots have been administered: Solving complex problems in a virtual platform How do experts balance in sharing and protecting knowledge?, Heidi Olander, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland; The use of MOOCs to streamline competence development in Technology Entrepreneurship domain, Federica Cirulli, Università del Salento, Lecce, Italy; Experienced Faculty Perceptions of the Online Teaching Practice Sarah J. McMahon, Boston University School of Education, USA; Using technology to prepare for life after graduation – ePortfolios, Brian Patrick Kurisky, Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, USA.
In the afternoon session of the June 12th, a Workshop on "Quality Assurance in producing OER" took place upon content provided by the BAKTEL project Partner Technical Universty of Iasi (Romania). The moderator was Ranka Stanković, University of Belgrade.
