The final dissemination meeting of the BAKTEL project was organized on 27-28 April 2017 at the Faculty for Information Technologies, University „Mediterranean“ Podgorica. Participants of meeting were reperesantuiteves of higher educatin instutions in Montenegro, IT companies and Erasmus+ office in Montenegro

Dissemination meeting Novi Sad - Belgrade, 24-25 March 2017 Serbia

On March 24th 2017 NIS organized a dissemination event in Novi Sad, chaired by Snežana Lakićević, Nis, and Ivan Obradović, UB. With welcome and greetings by Andrej Šibanov, director in NIS, participants were introduced with mission and goals of NIS for education support.

The second meeting day on March 25th, 2017 took place at Faculty of Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade, where Roberto Linzalone moderated the session dedicated to preparation for final report with review of current state of the art.

Info day at Faculty of Mining and Geology

During the BAEKTEL info-day TEMPUS project BAEKTEL was presented to students of Faculty of Mining and Geology , with the purpose of recruitment of a representative group of university students and junior employees from enterprises. Students have opportunity to see main goals of BAEKTEL TEMPUS project and developed resources during the project. Main attention was paid on their use of baektel-edx platform and resource space platform during the studies and potential use in their future as employers in enterprises.

Technical and workshop meeting in Belgrade

Technical meeting, 27 february - 3 march 2017 Niš, Serbia

The meeting started with the first session titled "Overview of recent project activities" with special attention to the actual version of Letter of Intent. It was discussed in details about the activities, results (deliverables) and conclusion at recently finished meetings (Regional Meeting in Tuzla, October 20-21, 2016; Training Meeting in Ljubljana, November 10-11, 2016; Technical and Workshop Meeting in Belgrade, November 23-25, 2016; Technical Meeting in Niš, December 8-10, 2017). It was concluded that all our activities and plans in agendas for previous and future meetings in Belgrade and Podgorica (including this one in Niš) must be agreed and coordinated with the LFM.

Technical meeting Niš

After registration of the participants and welcome address of Prof. Nikolic, the meeting started with the first session titled "Overview of recent project activities". It was discussed in details about the activities, results (deliverables) and conclusion at recently finished meetings (Regional Meeting in Tuzla, October 20-21, 2016; Training Meeting in Ljubljana, November 10-11, 2016; Technical and Workshop Meeting in Belgrade, November 23-25, 2016). Special attention was paid to the discussion of Dr. Linzalone during the meeting in Ljubljana (related to eligible cost during the prolongation of the project and the need to make a good and real projection of expenses until the end of project).

Student information day - STEPGRAD 2016

The BAEKTEL project results were disseminated at the 12th International Scientific and Professional Conference on “Contemporary Theory and Practice in Construction” (STEPGRAD) held in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina on December 7-8, 2016. The proposed topic and content of the conference aim to connect science, profession and education in the field of construction with an emphasis on the process of integrality and interdisciplinarity. The conference program covers current topics in architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, geodesy and similar scientific disciplines, with special reference to education in the contemporary construction.

Internal quality assurance with technical meeting Belgrade

After registration of the participants, the meeting started with the first session titled Computer lexicographical process for online dictionaries related to Dev 3.3. Getting to know the content of the session was moderated by Nikola Vulović from the University of Belgrade. Together, all meeting participants passed through all stages of the process for online dictionaries. Instructions were given to team members UNTZ to pay attention to the correctness of implementation of lexicographical processes. After a short break, Ranka Stanković presented guidelines to be used when creating terminological resources, and has indicated that standards must be met so that terms could be used without problems in published OER.

Training Meeting Ljubljana

Within the section 3.4 »Training of persons responsible for preparation of OER content within academic and entrepreneurial institutions«, a training meeting was held from 10 to 11 November 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

After the initial greeting from Dr. Goran Vižintin on behalf of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Dr. Roberto Linzalone presented the current state and progress of the BAEKTEL project. He stressed that even though the prolongation of the project has been accepted, we must remember that equipment is not an eligible cost during this extension.

Regional Meeting Tuzla

The project manager for UNTZ, Prof. Adila Nurić, and the management of UNTZ, the Rector and Vice-rectors, as well as the Dean of RGGF Tuzla welcomed the guests. They expressed their wish for continuation of cooperation and stressed the advantages of participating in this project and similar projects.

The meeting continued with a review of previous project activities at UNTZ presented by prof. Kasapović for all work packages of the project. Then a short overview of the future activities at UNTZ were presented by UNTZ project manager.

Sinergija 2016

Sinergija is the largest and the most influential annual conference dedicated to the field of information and communication technologies and their application in the region of South East Europe, which this year takes place sixteenthtime in a row. Organizer is Microsoft Serbia, but Sinergija is not associated only with Microsoft technologies, it has become a regional brand, and a synonym for all that is new and current in the entire IT world. In the context of this year's Sinergija, EDU Sinergija was also included, which is dedicated to education and application of information technologies in educational process. In his lecture titled Education for the 21st Century with Office365, Dr. Nenad Stefanovic from the University of Kragujevac presented Tempus BAEKTEL project, as well as EDX and Meta platforms.

Technical and dissemination meeting, Belgrade

Technical and dissemination meeting was held at Metropolitan University. Event took place from September 29th to September 30th. Within the conference, there were presented three papers related with TEMPUS project BAEKTEL.

Inter project coaching BAEKTEL–CaSA Novi Sad

Final conference of the TEMPUS project CaSA (Building Capacity of Serbian Agricultural Education to Link with Society) was held at Faculty of agriculture at University of Novi Sad. Event took place from September 26th to September 28th. Within the conference, cooperation and colaboration between two TEMPUS projects CaSA and BAEKTEL was presented. Special attention was paid on the achieved results and plans for future collaboration.

"Are you ready for Action 2020"

For the fourth consecutive year, ArcelorMittal celebrated lifelong learning and development during company-wide Learning Week. This year, the event took place from June 13th to 17th with the theme “Are you ready for Action 2020?” Within the Learning week scope several activities and events have been organized, among others a presentation and promotion of the BAEKTEL Project to ArcelorMittal employees. The presentation of the project was attended by the younger professionals from backgrounds of mining, geology, environment protection, mechanics, finance, legal and other backgrounds, being a potential users of the project platform in the future.
